HOW TO JOIN


NAPVS has accomplished a lot since its founding in Many 2004, but we have more important work to do, work that goes directly to the benefit of passport services companies bottom line as either more revenue resulting from the submission of more applications or by reducing a firm’s operational costs.

Membership in NAPVS is a cost-effective way to help your company be more successful. The new dues structure applies commonly adopted dues criteria for member-based associations. These criteria are:

  • Dues based on a relevant measurement of a company’s ability to pay, in this case total revenue from all passport and visa service activities and transactions of a company,
  • The use of a sliding scale so that smaller the size of a member firm then the less it has to pay, and
  • The sliding scale in which the dues amount as a percentage of member revenue declines as the revenue of the member company increases. So while a company in the lowest category pays the smallest amount of dues, this dues amount is a slightly larger percentage of the small members annual revenue than occurs for the other higher dues categories.

To help better understand the cost of membership dues to your business, we have related the fee amounts for the different categories to the average same-day passport application fee firms charge. So a dues of $650 is equivalent to the total revenue received for 5 same day passport applications based on a same day fee of $145. The cost savings or revenue increase from several of our accomplishments listed above more than cover the dues for many of the categories listed in the enclosed dues structure.

The application below is sent to Rob Smith, our executive director, who is not with a passport and visa services company, and thus will be the only person at NAPVS who will know the dues amount selected by member firms.
